About Lipa Salganik:
My great-grandfather Lipa Salganik was killed on the first or second day of the Babi Yar massacre. He graduated from the university in Germany sometimes in late 1800s and could not believe that Germans kill Jews. So he stayed in Kiev while my mothers family fled to Uzbekistan.
